–$19 billion for medical records
–$2.7 billion for embryonic stem cell research
–$83 billion for earned income credit for people who do not pay taxes
–$4.19 billion for “neighborhood stabilization activities” (translation: ACORN?)
–Public outrage removed Planned Parenthood’s BILLIONS from the bill

•President Obama indicates he will rescind the “provider conscience” regulation

–This rule was put in place by President Bush to provide more enforcement for laws protecting medical staff from having to do abortions

–Says it will hinder access to healthcare

Day 59—February 28

•Nominates Kathleen Sebelius as head of Health and Human Services

–As Governor of Kansas, opposed most restrictions on abortion, including late term abortions

–Has accepted $38,000 from George Tiller, the famous abortionist

–Received thousands more from his PAC

Day 64—March 5

•White House Health Care Summit

–Planned Parenthood attends

–Pro-life groups are shut out of the summit

Day 68—March 9

•Lifts the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research

–There have been NO SUCCESSFUL CLINICAL TRIALS using embryonic stem cell research

–There are over 80 different diseases that are being treated or cured by the use of adult stem cells

Day 69—March 9

•Deletes E.O. 13435 to fund adult stem cell research and new research with iPS (induced pluripotent stem) cells

–Was intended to press for research for alternatives to destructive embryonic stem cell research

–IPSCs offer more promise without the ethical dilemma—COMMON GROUND

–Helps enforce the China “one-child” policy

–Formerly represented ACORN and the ACLU

–Struck down prayer in Jesus’ name before the Indiana legislature (said it establishes religion), but prayer in the name of Allah is perfectly lawful

Day 79—March 20

•Reverses the Bush ban on sending taxpayer funds for birth control

–September 2003, President Bush blocked taxpayer funded contraceptive supplies to Marie Stopes (MSI) through the United States Agency for International Development (supported the one-child policy)

–MSI operates 600 reproductive health clinics and hundreds more outreach teams in 43 countries

Day 91—April 1

•The White House receives over 2,500,000 red envelopes

–Protest President Obama’s abortion policies

Day 97—April 7

•Department of Homeland Security issues its report

–Titled: “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”

Scope of the Report

•“This product is one of a series of intelligence assessments published by the Extremism and Radicalization Branch to facilitate a greater understanding of the phenomenon of violent radicalization in the United States. The information is provided to federal, state, local, and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials so they may effectively deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to terrorist attacks against the United States.”

Rightwing Extremism

•“…can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented…and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority….”

•No current international terrorist organizations are even mentioned!

Rightwing Extremism

•Refers to “white supremacist’s longstanding exploitation of social issues such as abortion, inter-racial crimes, and same-sex marriage.”

•Says “conspiracy theories and ‘end times’ prophecies could motivate extremist individuals and groups.”

•Those who oppose abortion and immigration may be rightwing extremists.

•Ex-military personnel and gun owners are included.

Day 99—April 9

•Harry Knox, director of the religion and faith program at the Human Rights Campaign is appointed to the White House Faith Based and Neighborhood Advisory Panel

–Attacked the Knights of Columbus as “foot soldiers of a discredited army of oppression” for their support of the marriage amendment and Proposition 8

–Refers to his homosexuality as “an immutable, unchangeable gift from God”

Prologue

•Captain Richard Phillips rescued by Navy Seals after 5 days being held captive by pirates

–Breaking news WND—President Obama delayed sending the Seals by 36 hours

–The Seals were hampered by rules of engagement

•The White House turned down two rescue plans that were offered

•Speech at Georgetown University on April 14

–White House requested covering the letters “IHS”  which refer to Jesus Christ
